Varjo VR-1, The First Ever Human Eye-Resolution VR Headset Launched

Varjo, a world-renown leader in manufacturing industrial VR and XR hardware finally launched VR-1 — the world’ first human eye-resolution VR headset.

The VR-1 headset so far is the only VR device that levels with our eye’s 20/20 vision. It has a resolution that’s more than sixty pixels per degree, which is 20x more powerful than any of the existing VR headsets today.

VR-1 also boasts the most advanced integrated eye-tracking with high-precision analytics. It interacts with the user’s eyes to give them an unmatched visual fidelity.

The powerful optics of the VR-1 headset is patented and developed by the experts in Varjo. It took them two years to perfect the technology.

Built for industry professionals

But, the Varjo VR-1 headset is not for games. It is a industrial VR headset designed to help professionals who use virtual reality in industrial design, architecture, engineering, construction, employee training, and simulation.

Varjo built this headset for this market because they believe that VR will radically change these industries, especially when VR is super close to reality.

In fact, the headset supports major 3D software tools used in the industry such as:

• Unreal
• Unity
• Autodesk VRED
• PREPAR3D
• ZeroLight
• VBS Blue IG
The headset also features a powerful SDK which enables integration to custom 3D engines.
To date, Varjo VR-1 is available in North America, Europe, and in Hong Kong. It retails at US $5995 plus an annual service license of US $995. It is only available for enterprise and educational institutions.
